A master-planned development entitled and built from the ground up by the principals of Maxxam on 154 acres of hillside land. In addition to a full service 300-room hotel, the development eventually consisted of a 64,000-square foot shopping center, 2 freestanding office buildings, and several additional parcels for future development. At the time it was constructed,

it was one of the largest development projects in the Conejo Valley, an affluent suburb of Los Angeles, and required the realignment of a major thoroughfare and the installation of extensive infrastructure. Now an essential part of the City of Agoura Hills, a portion of the site currently houses the Agoura Hills City Hall.
